When just starting to travel solo I highly recommend you start going to countries where you have family or friends. Who can always assist in case of an emergency.

Traveling to a country can be hard when you don’t speak the language and sadly google translate doesn't always do the best. Choose a country where you understand the language at least on a basic level.

When planning a trip you always imagine what the spending will likely be like by analyzing and researching.

However, sticky situations can not be predicted, make sure you go somewhere you can afford to spend more. Or where your currency puts you at the benefit of the exchange rates.

When starting off as a solo traveller start from nearby countries. I myself started in Europe after about 10 trips then I went further. If you stay nearby you have other means to travel back home.
